Your community garden

A green space for growth

In partnership with FEL Scotland through and Forth Valley Climate Action Hub the Hawkhill community and sensory gardens have been brought to life.

In Partnership with

Supporting sustainability

The community garden has created a space to grow fruit and vegetables in the heart of Hawkhill. Our seasonal produce will be available in our community shop to spread the value of the garden and support our collective aim to champion sustainable climate action through community impact.

Uplifting our community

We have been able to deliver our community composting scheme, community food growing project, and waste reduction and reuse projects throughout the development of our gardens. We aren’t just positively impacting our plant; we are positively impacting our people. The delivery of these projects has brought our community together, reduced social isolation, and continues to support wellbeing.

Getting hands dirty

It doesn’t stop at the center; we have teamed up with local schools and youth groups to collaborate across delivering climate awareness sessions and garden learning days to help support an increase in local environmental understanding and literacy

Driving a sustainable future for Hawkhill

We have made a strong start at the center, and this has only been possible with the support of our funders and partners. We are continuing to embed this transformative approach to a sustainable and environmentally focused future delivered through community-led climate resilience.

A garden for the community - not just for carrots

“Now we’re seeing people come in not just to use the center but to take part in growing sessions, food swaps, and even clothing repairs. It’s been transformative.”
